Football Sunday

Destiny Lee spent the night with Grandma Carla last night, and helped decorate her house for Christmas!! This morning the rest of us headed off to church. Dakota stayed at church to dance for the rest of the services for Kid Stuf. Phil, Micah and myself went to the park to play some football! Micah was the quarterback for both teams. Micah had a great time which is what mattered. After I picked Dakota up from church we came home to decorate our Christmas tree.

Yesterday, we bought a fake tree from Target and had it set up in the living room waiting to decorate it. Even after the tree was up it just didn't want to stand up straight, so as we were trying to fix it today the whole tree stand broke. So we packed the tree back up and headed back to Target. Instead of trying again with the same tree we looked for something else. We were unable to find anything so we headed to Home Depot where we ended up buying a real tree again this year. So after squeezing the kids and the tree in the van, we rushed home to put the tree up and got home in just enough time to watch the kick off of the Dolphins game. Destiny Lee came home just as we were ready to start decorating the tree. The tree is finished and looks very beautiful!!!
