Our Week!!!

Wow this week has been crazy! I started my new job and it is so much fun! I believe I described my job as dispatcher which is true, except with dispatching goes along call taking. I am in training and will be for about 6 months. I have about 200 or so codes and signals to learn and need to most of them in about another week. The sooner the better. Instead of wasting time talking most things are translated to codes and signals. In just a couple of weeks I will be answering calls. I can't wait till I am fluent so I can figure out what is happening without having to look it up.
The kids are doing great in school too! Dakota has meet many new friends and has been asked to an upcoming dance by TWO boys!!! I'm not sure I'm ready for this! Not sure yet if she is going at all but we'll see. Micah is in his own contest with the "smartest" girl in the class. He is always making sure he does better than her. Destiny Lee is also doing great in school. She has to come home and tell everybody every last thing that she did in school. She is very proud of herself. Phil of course is doing great, he is my hero. He has to get the kids up and ready for school, pack lunches, and drop everybody off. He does this all with no complaining and he is great at it! He is the BEST!!!!!! I tell you what good husbands are hard to find.
Tonight we enjoyed dinner at the Olive Garden! I'm not sure enjoyed is the right word for the food BUT we enjoyed being together as a family.
Hopefully I'll be able to keep up a little better with my posts but if you don't hear from me for a while you know I am studying.

Monday was the first day of school for Dakota and Micah.
They both did great! They have both met new friends and
like their teachers. Dakota has a couple different teachers, she "switches"
classes to get them ready for middle school. So far so good! We'll keep you posted.

The Big Announcement

Well I said in my previous post that I was hoping to make a big announcement
this week, So here it goes...I have a new job!!!!! After 15 years at my current
job it is time to start a new chapter. I will begin training on Monday, August 27 to
be a 911 dispatcher. I will be dispatching the police and fire rescue to the scene and will be in
training for 5 to 6 months. I am very excited about this new adventure. I will keep everyone posted about all the new happenings.

Friday night we went to dinner at the Kane's. Celine made lemon

Today we found a new nature walk.
We saw some cool birds, berries, and animal tracks.
Notice that Lee Lee is missing from the above pic.
She is on her way to see Madi's grammy(as DL calls her).
Celine took the girls for a few days to Ameila Island for some fun in the sun!

I also expect to make a big announcement on this blog sometime at the beginning of the week, stay tuned to see what it is.

On another note the kids start school in a week. They are very excited about the upcoming year. I will be sure to post pics from their first school experience.

of it. We enjoyed the afternoon swimming at the pool. These two little

fishes had a great time.

Summer Fun

Today Aleida and her girls came over to swim. The kids were awesome! They swam and played for two hours. We then went back to the house and they played more. Annie was having such a good time she didn't want to leave. Destiny Lee fell asleep in the bedroom, while everyone was playing around her. Can't wait to do it again soon!

Fun at the Pool

Destiny Lee thinks she is a full fledged swimmer. She was jumping in today and swimming to us. She would even start to swim when we weren't looking at her. She's becoming very brave. That can be good and bad!
