Relaxing Weekend

This weekend we just kind of hung out doing a bunch of nothing.
I love to have nice relaxing weekends. Yesterday the kids did a couple of
craft, while Celine and I scrapbooked. After church today the Kane's came
over to enjoy a fabulous lunch of ribs and chicken. Now we sit and watch the Brickyard 400.

Soul to Soul 2007

Last night Celine and I went to the best concert EVER!!!!!
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. It was so much fun! Believe it
or not I didn't bring my camera. I'm going to see if some other friends
who went might have some photos,we'll see. The concert started at 7:30 and
didn't end until 11:20. We had a great time!!!
Today Aleida, Celine and I took the day to ourselves and
went to the Sawgrass Mills Mall, did a little shopping,
went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch and
saw the movie Knocked Up! We enjoyed the day, though it flew by.

Typical Florida Afternoon

This afternoon another thunderstorm rolled in.

The lightning was fierce. I was able to get only one shot

of it but it was amazing to watch.

Cooking 101

We thought we would take a break from the computer games and spend time making a mess in the kitchen. We made banana bread and chocolate chip cookies.
The kids did everything, I just told them how much of each ingredient they needed. They did a great job!!!

Birthday Celebration!!!!

Another Broken Bone!!!!!!

Well the results are in. Phil has officially broken

the last row of bones in his right hand. He will have

to wear the cast about 4 weeks. However, thats good news

considering the doc said most people with this injury needs screws or plates.

Tonight we had three of the five military services represented.

We will be celebrating the 4th of July tomorrow, but the celebration started a little early.

We want to give a big shout out to the men and women who support our country. We all know which is the best branch though, United States Marine Corp!!!!

Cousins come for a visit

My brother and his kids have come down for a visit. I started taking some pics but not that many yet. But tonight were having a sleepover and the girls have the same pajamas so we took some pics cause they are so cute. More pics to come in the coming days.

We are Blessed People

Today we enjoyed another wonderful day at the beach.
Some of you might wonder why I never blog about anything else
but when you live in Sunny South Florida the best thing are the beaches.
The water was beautiful and clear and there were schools of fish everywhere.
We collected alot of awesome shells as well. As South Florida is also famous for its
thunderstorms, right on time around 1:30 in came a nice thunderstorm. So we had to pack it up. When we got to the intercoastal bridge the bridge keeper had some problems getting the bridge to stay in the down position. So after sitting there for about 10 mintues we had to do a u-turn and find another bridge. The amount of traffic from that bridge was amazing. We finally made it home right as it started to pour.
