right where i belong

Product Details

This book was provided to me by booksneeze.com for my honest opinion and review.
This is an excellent book for teenagers to read! I cannot wait for my daughter to read this book. The book is about a teenager who moves to a new country (USA) and a new school for her senior year. It shows how perfectly God has a plan for everyones life. Even though her mother and father have her life planned out for her and it;s not what Natalia wants, she is able to stand up for what she wants and persue the career that God intended for her.

Here's Lily

Front Cover

This is the first book of a series of books about Lily who is a sixth grader trying to find her way. Here's Lily is a great book for young girls. It really lets young girls know there are other girls out there who have the same feelings and going through similar situations that they may be going through. I am excited for my daughter to read this book as it weaves God through the story line.
I received this e-book from Book Sneeze for my honest review.

Family Reunion

In June we headed to Orlando to Disney World for a family reunion. It was the first time in many years that all of my family were all together. The kids had a great time hanging out with their cousins. We enjoyed 4 days at all the Disney Parks. Our feet were killing us by the end but we had fun riding all the rides and watching the shows. I took a ton of pictures as always, I will continue to update with a couple pics each day!

TIME FLIES

Well I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted on my blog. I miss posting about our activities but it just seems like I am always too busy to post. BUT now that Summer has arrived I am going to make an attempt to begin to post again. That being said I will do a quick recap of recent events.
The kids have finished school and are very excited about Summer!!! They all did a great job this school year! Dakota is officially a high schooler :( , Micah is entering 5th grade and Destiny Lee is entering 2nd. I cannot believe how fast they are growing up.
We have a family reunion planned next week, so upon our return I will have lots of photos.
I am taking cake decorating classes too, so I will be posting pics of my projects as they come up.

A Time to Embrace

I have just recently finished reading a Time to Embrace by Karen Kinsbury. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Kingsbury is an amazing writer.

The book touched on subjects about divorce, marriage, abortion, and lots of others. The book was about a couple who had recently reconciled their marriage. Kingsbury makes you really feel as if you know the characters in the book. I laughed and cried as though I was a part of the story. This book really made me stop and think about how we need to have God in EVERY aspect of our lives, not just when we want but ALL the time. I highly recommend this book and any others written by Karen Kingsbury. I have already reserved some of her books from a different series and I plan on reading all the series she has written.
