This weekend we celebrated Destiny Lee's birthday! On Saturday we picked up Maddy to have a sleepover. In the afternoon , Aleida and the gang came over to help celebrate. The kids had so much fun playing. Their favorite part was playing Just Dance on the Wii. Later on in the evening I did Maddy and DL's toenails. The next morning it was time to prepare for her second celebration! On Sunday Celine and Travis came down a little early so the guys could do some fishing. Micah scored 1 fish and Phil caught 2!! Travis unfortunately for skunked! Diana, Scott, Grandma Carla and Diana's Grandma Agnes joined us as well. We all had a great time hanging out and talking and the kids played and played!! Destiny Lee had a great birthday! But the celebration doesn't end here. She is taking off of school on Tuesday to celebrate even more!!!!
We are planning on using her new scooter, and swimming! Happy Birthday to my Princess Destiny Lee!!

Micah's Big Catch

This weekend we went fishing a couple of times. Micah and Phil always have a little contest
amongst themselves. Micah won this weekend. He caught this bass from a frog. I believe it was his first time fishing with a frog, he did great. Way to go Micah!

Strawberry Picking

On Friday we decided to go on a adventure, we headed to a u-pick farm. We picked strawberries and tomatoes. We have never done this before and the kids had a great time. Destiny Lee especially liked the ride behind the tractor. The weather was perfect, it was a cloudy day so it wasn't too hot! We picked about 12 pounds of strawberries. When we went home, we made strawberry bread and I also made a strawberry pie. They both were a big hit. I made more bread today since they all liked it so much! We only have a few strawberries left. I hope to be able to it again 1 more time before the season ends.

Poodalicious

Well I have tried for several days to upload a video from Destiny Lee's
play called ARF but it will not upload! I will continue to try! Destiny Lee was
Poodalicious in the play and did a great job with her lines! The pictures didn't
come out great because of the angle where our seats were. At the end of the week
Lee Lee will perform the play again and I hope to get some better pics!

Fairytale Ball

On Friday May 7th, Micah had a fairytale ball that I had the pleasure of attending. Micah wanted to dress as Robin Hood! I made his costume and it turned out pretty cute! Micah had a great time with his friends. They did a lot of running instead of dancing but had a GREAT time!

Training for a Triathlon

I have been inspired by an old high school friend (Wendi) to run a triathlon! She doesn't even know that she has inspired me. I started my training about a week ago. I am shooting to run my first triathlon in the beginning of September at Disney World. I will keep you posted on how my training is going and any other events that I participate in. Dakota has also been training with me and we are looking into some events for her as well! Anyone interested in joining in on the fun, leave a comment! :)

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day I was treated to breakfast in bed by Micah and Destiny Lee. They made me a bagel with butter, with a glass of water. Destiny Lee even decided that I needed to share the bagel with her and she ate half of it! :0) We spent the day at different parks in the area fishing. Everyone caught fish and had a great time. After dinner, Grandma Carla brought over dessert and we all enjoyed ice cream cones! I am so blessed to have these beautiful children and such an AWESOME husband! I can't imagine what life would be like without them!!

Straight A's again!!!!!

I'm a little late in posting this but on April 19th, Micah received an honor roll certificate again for having straight A's!!!! He has done a fabulous job this year!
Dakota also had awesome grades last quarter. Since she has become a Virtual student her grades have gotten even better than they were before. She doesn't receive a report card but she also had straight A's at the end of the quarter.
Destiny Lee is right on track too! Her favorite subject is math and she also loves to read and write!!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Brady

Here are a couple of pictures of Brady! He is already getting so big! The kids are having a great time with him, of course we have our occasional arguments over him too. He loves to play with his toys and chase the kids around the house. He is a great addition to our family!!
