Today Destiny Lee and I were playing dress up before I left for work. Lee Lee was dressing up in my clothes. I took some cute photos and then tried some cool editing!!

Water Balloons and Bowling

Today we were trying to come up with some creative ways to deal with the heat. We got some water balloons and the kids came home and a water balloon fight. It always takes much longer to fill the balloons then it does throwing them at each other. After the balloon fight we came inside and played some Wii bowling. I have to say Destiny Lee is amazing. She bowls strikes and spares just about every time. We enjoyed spending the day as a family. Dakota is now baking us some brownies for dessert! YUM!!!

Time for another photo contest. I Heart Faces has their weekly contest again. This week all about boys. Which is perfect for my fishing men. The first is for the kids category and it's a picture of Micah with his huge bass he caught. The second is for the adult entry and it's Phil with a peacock bass.

Pool Fun

This morning after everyone woke up, I made a biscuits and gravy for breakfast. After breakfast all the kids did some school work. after school work was done, off to the pool. The kids had a great time showing me all their moves. Off to go play Monopoly before I head to work!!

VBS 09

Tonight was VBS Parent night. We got to see what the kids have been learning about all week and they showed us some cool dance moves. We also found out who won the Koala vs Wombat Competition all week. Micah and Lee Lee were Wombats. The winner of all the baby bottle contest was...WOMBATS!!! All togeter over 3,000 dollars was raised for Hope Pregnancy Center. After the show the kids enjoyed cupcakes with train whistles on them. Enjoy the pics!

Liam Yankee Fan

So today Liam and Madi came for a visit while Celine was busy with school and doctor appointments. We had a great time playing and holding baby Liam. Liam showed up today wearing a shirt just for Uncle Phil. It said "I can't even walk yet and I already hate the Yankees!"
Well as you all know we are all Yankee fans. Liam told me he wanted to play a joke on his daddy and we dressed him up in Micah's Yankee outfit from when he was a baby. Above are the pics, he is an awfully cute Yankee fan. More pics of the day to come real soon!!

Tonight we went out to do some more fishing. And we caught a bunch of different fish. Phil started things off with a snakehead, Micah then caught a fire mouth, Dakota joined in and caught a blue catfish. Dakota took a little break and scootered by Diana and I and Diana caught her with the fishing pole she was holding. Dakota went back to fishing and Diana told her to catch a turtle, and within minutes Dakota actually caught a turtle. Next Micah pulled in a armored catfish. What a great night of fishing!! Now we are relaxing watching a movie.

New Arrivals....

Destiny Lee got a Little Mermaid fish tank for her birthday. We were finally able to find time to go get the fish she's been waiting for. She got 5 black molly's. This is the same kind her great grandfather has always had, so she is very excited to have the same. Their names are Diana, Roxie, Lexy, Micah, and Madi.

Fishing in the Lake

This afternoon we took a break from summer cleaning and went fishing in the lake.
We used some bread and hot dogs. Phil caught two new fish, a snakehead and a fire mouth. The snakehead was huge, and the fire mouth was big for the kind of fish it was. The kids fished to but no luck. Now we are back inside cooling off.

Little Mermaid???

Destiny Lee told Phil she wanted to be a mermaid. So Phil told her he found a recipe on line to turn little girls into mermaids. He covered her with oil, sea salt, wrapped her in a towel, and rubbed a sea shell on her. This morning she had to take a bath and she would start to see the change. So first thing this morning as soon as her eyes opened she asked if she could take a bath. She took a bath and kept telling us it was working. Now she's ready for us to drop her off at the beach and we can see her when we go to the beach. All she wants to eat now is seafood. So if you get a call from her saying goodbye, you'll know why. She wants to call everybody and say goodbye so she can go to the beach to live forever. She also said if she changes her mind, Ursula can change her back to a girl. But Ursula can only change you back into a girl if you find true love and kiss a boy on the lips by the last sunset!!

Stars of Magic

Last night Dakota and I went to the Stars of Magic at the Lake Worth Playhouse. It was a really great show. I was there to take pictures. Above is just a few of the 300 I took. A shout out to my friend Ashlee who did the sound for the night, she did a great job.

Runners Up

This morning was Micah's Superbowl game. Micah played great but it just wasn't meant to be. After the game we hung out and had birthday cake for one of the players. Micah finally received his trophy this afternoon. It was a good season but definitely ready for a break!! Summer here we come!!

So this morning Phil and I went fishing again. On the hunt for peacock bass. It all started out great had a couple of hits and then Phil caught one. After Phil brought him on shore he was trying to take the hook out of his mouth and the fish shook trying to get loose and the lure got stuck in Phil's finger!!! So now Phil has one treble hook in the fishes mouth the other in his finger. So after finally getting the fish loose, we took a few pictures and then off to the Urgent Care Facility. They took a look at it and realized they didn't have the right tools, so they sent us to the Emergency room. The doctor went to work shortly after arriving and pulled the hooks out, a tetanus shot and antibiotics and were done. Were now back at home, only because we have to pick up the kids or we would be out fishing again.
