Happy Birthday DAKOTA!!!!!

Today Dakota turned 12!!!! I can not believe that 12 years ago today I was giving birth to my first child. I tried to scan some photos of when she was little to look back on however my scanner is not cooperating. We celebrated tonight with family. She had a Tinkerbell cake and decorated it herself. She had a great night minus the fact that her and Micah were fooling around and she busted up her elbow. She has a nice black and blue along with a bump. It took her a while to be able to start moving it! It is feeling better now except when she bumps it!

New Hairdo!!!

This afternoon we went and got Lee Lee's haircut! She was debating if she was going to grow it out or cut it short. We finally decided to cut it. So this afternoon we headed there after school.

She did a great job and sat very still!!

Field Trips

Today I went with Dakota to the Renaissance Festival with her class. It was interesting but not something I would normally. Dakota and Lynnette shopped all day at the many booths and also watched a joust show! Destiny Lee also went on a field trip today to Fern Forest! We were unable to go with her but she said she had a great time! Now I am headed into work, hope everyone has a great night!

President's Day

Yesterday the kids had off for Presidents Day so we headed to the beach!! The weather did not want to cooperate but we look a couple of nice walks and hung out on the rocks. The sun tried to peak through the clouds but the clouds won!! While hanging out on the rocks we took some pictures. I think Dakota thought she was in a photo shoot!! The kids also had fun digging in the sand!! Dakota made Patrick's house from Spongebob, and Micah and DL dug holes!! After the beach we headed to a park and took a short walk on a boardwalk before heading back home!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!!!!

I know I'm a little late for a Valentine post but I just haven't had the time to sit and post. Madison came over for the day. The girls painted some picture frames. They did a great job!! I wasn't able to get any pictures of them together with their matching valentine shirts! Oh well maybe next time.

Good news and Bad news!!!

Yesterday we received good news and bad news. The bad news is, Phil was terminated from his job!! It has been a long time coming, and he's done a great job of hanging on. The good news is he's not under all the crazy stress that job brought him! The job hunt has been under way for a while now and it will continue. So of you think about it say a prayer for our family. We know the Lord has something in store for us and it will all fall into place in His perfect timing!!

On another note, as you can tell I'm changing the look of my blog! I found this great website from my bestest friend, Celine. I will probably be changing it often as there are a lot of cool backgrounds and it's actually easy to do.

Fun at the Park

Today we met Dozer and Bromley at the park to play. Dozer and the kids have a great time chasing each other around. We had some drama in the beginning when Dozer wondered to the rock park to visit the kids there and was greeted by a woman full of drama. She threatened to call 911 because she was scared. She left with her kids shortly after and about 45 mins later the police showed up. Of course the officer thought it was a joke, because when he pulled up Dozer was on top of Destiny Lee licking her to death!!

Fashion Statement

This is what happens when your 4 year old insist on dressing themselves with no help!! I love that she is starting to really need no assistance with this but sometimes her outfits are pretty interesting!!

Ok, so I'm sure you all know that it is cold in Florida!!! So I just wanted to post pictures of Destiny Lee all bundled up for the weather. As I was taking pictures she started to act like she was in a photo shoot and started posing!! Dakota and Micah on the other hand wouldn't let me get any pics and they weren't as bundled up as DL. However when we went to the car, they were wishing they were.
