More Everglades Pics

I finally figured out how to watermark my photos so here are some more cool pics from the everglades on Tuesday!! Haven't decided which ones to enter in the contest but I'll let you know when I decide! If you have any suggestions let me know! Enjoy!!!

Today Phil and I spent the day together. We headed out to the everglades. I took a ton of pictures and we walked about 6 miles. We saw a ton of wildlife, 15 gators, 2 snakes, 2 alligator gar, tons of birds, a handful of turtles and butterflies. I was in heaven taking pictures of everything. I took a total of 357 pictures. Above are a few of my favorites.

Park with Diana

On Wednesday Diana picked the kids up from school for me. She always spoils them, and Wednesday was no different. After school they went to the park and then went and got slurpees. Which was funny because it was freezing out but the kids loved it!! After slurpees they stopped by and saw me at work. Destiny Lee was more interested in seeing Roxie, so it was a short visit. After going to Diana's to visit Roxie they came home to the usual homework and bedtime!! Thank you so much Diana for all your help!!!

Dinner with Friends

I know I'm a little late in posting this week but time keeps getting away from me. Anyway on Tuesday we had some friends over for dinner. Diana and Frank from my work came over along with Frank's wife Sandy! We enjoyed some pizza and garlic rolls and then brought out some games. We started out with apples to apples which Diana won!! Next we played Pictureka, this game is a ton of fun. Destiny Lee won this game which she was very proud of!! After the games Frank did a little magic for everyone! The kids thought it was great to have their own magic show. We all had a great time and hope to do it again soon!! Not to much else to post so far for the week besides the beautiful weather we have been having. The last two days it was in the 30's when we woke up! Which to us Floridians that is freezing!!! We all are really enjoying the cold weather! I'm sure it will be warming up way to soon but we will enjoy what we get. I will post pictures tomorrow as I am having trouble uploading them! Fern Forest

Today we spent the day with Grandma Carla. We took the kids to the park and we saw lots of cool things. I took 228 pictures at the park. The kids loved running on the trails. Below are some of pics from the day.

Enjoying the last days of winter break

I'm a little behind so were gonna start from last Friday. In the morning the kids and I got up had some biscuits and gravy and then headed off to the park. The kids played for a couple of hours and then we headed back to the house to have lunch with Grandma Carla. After lunch we rented WALL-E and had some popcorn. I thought the movie was pretty cute. Phil came home shortly after the movie finished, and we had dinner. At about 9pm Grandma Carla came back over with a dear friend from Orlando. Her name is Sharon and she actually babysat me when I was little. We played a game of Pictureka!! It was a short visit but it was great to see Sharon again!
Saturday morning was pretty layed back, the only outing was to the grocery store. And of course in the afternoon I headed to work.
Today we enjoyed an awesome church service and now we are home cheering for the DOLPHINS!!!!!!!
Tomorrow we head back to our normal routine with the kids returning to school. No more days off for a while. Next week I get to attend Hostage training for work which I am very excited about. I'll tell you more about it after the class is over.
