Bring Your Child to Work Day

Today is bring your child to work day! Dakota and Micah spent the day taking tours of the police and fire stations, going swimming at the pool, playing tennis and checking out city hall. Destiny Lee stayed home with me, so we went shopping for her school play. We also needed to find a dress for Destiny Lee for a wedding we are attending next month. I found a dress at Target on clearance for $14.00 and thought I hit the jackpot. I went next store to Ross next and hit an even bigger jackpot when I found the same exact dress for half the price!! So Lee Lee got a drss for the wedding for only $7.00!!! After this Lee Lee and I grabbed some lunch and are now getting ready to pick up the other two kiddos and head to my work for the afternoon!! Brady

Introducing...Brady!! On Saturday, we adopted Brady. He's a yorkie/terrier mix. He is about 8 weeks old. He loves to chase the kids and loves to play with his toys! So far he's been great sleeping through the night. The kids cannot get enough of him. More pics to come real soon!

Bosco

Last Tuesday, one of our doggies died. Bosco had a heart attack and died. He was not in pain but we were not expecting this. He was only 5 years old. The kids were all very upset, especially Dakota. This was the first dog that she has ever trained and she was very proud of that. Bosco, you will be missed!

Celebrating Liam

Last Saturday we celebrated Liam's 1st Birthday!! The kids all had a blast running around the park and playing with great friends. Happy 1st Birthday Liam!!!!!

Family Time on Good Friday

On Good Friday, we all headed to the park after Phil got off of work. We tried to do some fishing but they really weren't biting. We played some fun games, with included badminton, volleyball, and jai alai and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch. The kids were very creative playing games too! We really enjoyed spending the day as a family!!

Ms Wishy Washy

Destiny Lee's class took a field trip in March to visit Ms. Wishy Washy. I'm sure most of you have read the books about her. They got to see her house and visit her animals. They also sang some fun songs with Uncle Shelly. Everyone had a great time and I was so glad to be able to go and take lots of pictures!

Breakfast in the Park

A couple of weeks ago we decided to have breakfast in the park. We stopped and grabbed some bagels and brought our fishing poles and headed to a local park. We all had a great time, the boys both caught fish! Something we should probably do more often!

Garden

Phil and I decided that we needed to give our balcony a little makeover. We got some plants and some seeds and started a small garden. We also made a fish pond! Now when you go on the balcony, we can sit outside and enjoy the space!

As those of you who read this blog on a somewhat regular basis.... I am very behind!! I don't have a really good reason for being behind except just being busy and lazy! A couple of weeks ago we spent the day at the park, playing all kinds of games. The kids had a really great time as did Phil and I. Here are just a couple of the pictures that we took. Enjoy!!
