Bike Riding

Today I took the kids bike riding. I have no pics because I had not downloaded the circus pictures until just a few minutes ago. Anyway they had a lot of fun. Dakota is getting daring and trying to do tricks, Micah says he's ready for his training wheels to be taken off, and Lee Lee is starting to get the idea behind pedalling. After about 20 min of Lee Lee sitting on her bike and me telling her to pedal she says I'm tired and was happy sitting in a chair.
A small lesson learned today while the kids were taking their baths tonight. Be very careful when asking your oldest child to help the youngest child turn on the bath water. I asked Dakota to turn on the bath for DL, which she has done many times. DL was enjoying her bath with no complaints and when she was finished she came running out to me saying I'm done mommy. She was soaking wet still and full of soap and looked as if she had been outside in the sun for hours. I said Dakota how HOT is that water??? Not hot mommy she says. Well I went back in the bathroom with DL to rinse her off because she was full of soap and the water was on the verge of boiling. And to think that was after she had been in there 10 to 15 min. DL says to me it not hot mommy!! It took her a few minutes to cool off and for her color to return to normal.

Today the girls enjoyed a day of pampering at Libby Lu's!

They got their hair, makeup and nails done. Dakota finally got her dream of curly hair.

1st Sleepover for DL

I can not believe how time flies. The week is almost over already. Tonight my baby went to her first sleep over at Madison's house. She has been to Grandma's plenty of times but never to a friends. Her big sister went along too, so I'm sure she'll do great!! Before heading off to Celine's house we all had dinner together. I made some delicious lemon chicken, mashed potatoes,and peas. Then the girls decided to play beauty shop.

Phil's Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Phil!! Today was my husband's 36th birthday! Wow how time flies. We had over a few friends and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. We then had some delicious cake. The kids attacked him with silly string as you can see below.

This is a little late but better late than never. Last weekend we went to the zoo and enjoyed a picnic in the park after! Today we tried to enjoy the park but it was to HOT!!! So we went home
to the a/c. Dakota put makeup on the girls and made them look like smurfs!
