Skipping School Already

Yesterday Lee Lee played hooky from school and she and I went to visit Celine and Madi. After we dropped off Dakota and Micah to school we headed to Lake Worth. Madi and Lee Lee were so excited to be able to play all by themselves with nobody to bother them. Celine, her mom, and I were able to chat and catch up a little. And of course we enjoyed lots of holding of baby Liam. After lunch Lee Lee and Madi played on the slip n slide. We headed back down to pick up the kids from school around 2. After a quick dinner it was off to football again. We lost this week too, but Micah played great. We have about 3 more regular games and then it's the playoffs and then were done. I must say I am looking forward to that.

Last weeks events

Well I was excited to post some pictures from last weekend but just found out they were deleted!!! :( But for a recap we went to a birthday party at the water park. The kids had a great time. Of course I HAD some great pictures but we will have to go again and take more. On Wednesday we had another football game. We didn't win but Micah is the only one who scored!!! He also had a great catch. This weekend Destiny Lee spent the night with Grandma Carla and Dakota was busy dancing at church. Papa and Micah spent some time fishing, I'll have to get their pictures and post them later.

Yesterday was another football game and the Eagles won again!! Micah had a great game, scored a touchdown and was awesome on defense!! We are not up to too much this week, getting back into the swing of school again!! I'm sure this weekend we will have some cool pics!!

Today was our unofficial last day of Spring Break. We kept the kids home to enjoy a day with the family, since Dakota was gone most of last week and I was working!! We headed up to the beach but after about an hour had enough of the wind. The water was very choppy and had lots of man-o-wars. We decided to check out Gumbo Limbo right down the street and we were able to see lots of fun things. We went on a nice boardwalk that led to the intercoastal and also went in a watch tower. Micah was our point man, he loves to read maps, so he told us where we needed to go. We didn't get lost once. We saw sea turtles, sharks, fish, and butterflies. After Gumbo Limbo we headed home and went to the pool for a quick dip. We all had a great time. Back to reality tomorrow, school, waking up early, homework, football practice, etc.

Happy Resurrection Day!!!!

Happy Easter everybody!! Today was an AWESOME day in the Bilbao household. Dakota and Micah were baptized this morning at the beach. The beach was so perfect, flat, warm and calm. We even saw dolphins swimming in the distance, which I have only seen on the west coast. Grandma Carla, Grandma Donna, Diana and Mrs. Weber came out to watch. After the baptism we enjoyed blueberry muffins before heading home for showers and off to church.

The kids also woke up to the Easter Bunny leaving them each an Easter basket. Dakota and Micah also received beautiful silver cross necklaces from the Weber's for the special occasion. Grandma Carla bought them cool t-shirts, Bible covers, and each of them received a special Easter basket. When we got to church, Frank (aka Jimmy Rook) also gave the kids each an Easter basket. And last but not least Grandma Donna gave them each a bathing suit. The kids were so blessed today by all the thoughtfulness. Thank you!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today Diana had the kids over to have an Easter egg hunt at her house. The kids didn't know where they were going, I made them put blindfolds on to add to the excitement. They had a great time and also each got an extra special treat in one of the eggs. Thanks Diana for the great fun!! We had a blast!

Tomorrow Dakota and Micah are getting baptized on Easter morning at the beach. They are very excited about this decision.

I did it, all by myself!!

On Wednesday Diana, Destiny Lee, myself and Michelle (Diana's sister), went to the roller skating rink. It was Destiny Lee's first time and she loved it. While I left for work , she stayed at the skating rink with Michelle and played video games. She spent the rest of the afternoon with Diana and her family. Diana did a great job of spoiling her. Destiny Lee went and played with Michelle's dogs, Bella and Chewy. She wanted to take Bella home with her. Later on in the evening she went bowling and then enjoyed watching Spongebob until she came home around 11pm. Thanks Diana for taking Lee Lee for the day, she can't wait to hang out with you again.

Yesterday Phil took Micah and Destiny Lee fishing while I went to go visit Celine and Liam again at the hospital. They caught a ton of fish, peacock bass, large mouth bass and almost scored an alligator gar!!! After we all got back home Diana and I took the kids to see Monsters and Aliens, which they loved!! After the movie we came home and watched Lady and the Tramp, Lee Lee didn't move while the movie was on!!
