Today was our unofficial last day of Spring Break. We kept the kids home to enjoy a day with the family, since Dakota was gone most of last week and I was working!! We headed up to the beach but after about an hour had enough of the wind. The water was very choppy and had lots of man-o-wars. We decided to check out Gumbo Limbo right down the street and we were able to see lots of fun things. We went on a nice boardwalk that led to the
intercoastal and also went in a watch tower. Micah was our point man, he loves to read maps, so he told us where we needed to go. We didn't get lost once. We saw sea turtles, sharks, fish, and
butterflies. After Gumbo Limbo we headed home and went to the pool for a quick dip. We all had a great time. Back to reality tomorrow, school, waking up early, homework, football practice, etc.
